Nothing too huge out of court today. A few notes on trial: -Trial starts Dec. 1 -Both sides think trial can be done in 10 days -Will pick nine for jury first morning (six plus 3 alternates) -Among 30-35 witness will be potentially 8 from other teams -No progress toward settling
After about four hours of arguments on pretrial motions, taking lunch break and then resume with hopes of getting through the rest today. No big bombshells although at one point, judge did say request to limit Hendrick/Penske testimony/deposition topics was "an absurd request."

Denny Hamlin said he plans to race next year (he is signed through 2027) but he said he is going to need some time to get over Sunday and he's not ready to get in a race car right now.

Sports has a way of being cruel at times, unfortunately for Denny he knows that too well. He is still one of the best I’ve ever seen behind the wheel of the stock car, and both him & Larson are two of the best of my generation. Regardless of yesterday’s outcome let’s celebrate it

Yesterday Denny Hamlin drove the race of a Champion, and was 3 miles away from a Cinderella type ending to his season. However, Kyle Larson and the No. 5 team clutched up in the pits & won it anyway. Let’s not discredit Larson’s performance, just because of Hamlins heartbreak.
