Saw Tuchel after England crumbled against Senegal. He was disappointed, but calm. This is a very different England, and will be a jovial Tuchel. Still moments of foolish decision making in the defensive third, but much better going forward, with Morgan Rogers the key.

That shouldn't be a red. Half a second late and heading to the corner with a covering defender. Silliness. #SRBENG

And... Branthwaite, Colwill, Wharton, Palmer, Foden, Saka (and other contenders) all lower the average further.

England's staring XI - ages: Pickford: 31 James: 25 Konsa: 27 Guehi: 25 Livramento: 22 Anderson: 22 Rice: 26 Madueke: 23 Rogers: 23 Gordon: 24 Kane: 32 Average age of 25. With the exception of Kane and maybe Pickford and Konsa, there are four WCs/Euros in this team. #SRBENG

England good, so far. Rogers only involved in flashes. But every flash has been as classy as it is effective. And completely unselfish with it. #SRBENG

That was easy. Anderson pass, a cute flick from Rogers then a confident finish from Madueke. A three-player move with an average age of (approx) 22 years old. #srbeng

Great header from Kane. Odd, but great. Scored from near the penalty spot! #SRBENG

I don't think I've ever seen Rice give the ball away this much. Four misplaced passes in the opening 20mins. #SRBENG

Not to be forgotten that Anderson and Livramento are part of a band of brothers after winning the Euro Under-21s together in the summer.

Don't underestimate how highly Tuchel rates Ezri Konsa. He is the player who Tuchel first selected as his first pick CB (over Guehi). This England defence comes as no surprise. I also think he's pretty good.

Query now is whether Nuno Espirito Santo knew he wanted to leave Forest BEFORE signing his new deal, and then poking the bear that is Marinakis with that 'relationship' jibe in August. If Nuno ever re-emerges in the UK this will be my question. #NFFC

Lovely piece of coverage from @englandcricket. Given the audience exactly what they want after a stunning spell from Jofra Archer.
Every ball from a stunning seven-over spell from Jofra Archer 🔥 Not sure fast bowling gets much better than this 🚀

Many of us saw this coming and this looks to be a signla of where it is going. #MCFC 'clarity' regarding sponsor rules #PSR #FFP Much more to come. https://t.co/lIGMIOG26b

I'm afraid that this sums it up. The latest example of a club that's not under the microscope in the way MUFC, Liverpool, MCFC and Arsenal have been for the last 20 years, receiving lazy and inaccurate analysis. Pickford has been exceptional, for many, many years.
@SkySportsNews Avoided relegation last season? We finished 23 points clear of the bottom 3 😂 He’s been unbelievable for Everton for 5/6 years now, probably longer. It’s beggars belief that people who get paid to talk about football chat so much rubbish.

Jude's ego has been witnessed for some time. He attempted to make himself the 'pass-to guy' in the England attack (over Harry Kane) ahead of and during the Euros - criticising and berating. You need a bit of that ego to get to the top, but this (from @OllieHolt22) is concerning.

Big (and damning) quote from Lewis... If attached to the Daniel Levy departure. If it's a general comment on Spurs' current position, it's another matter.
Source close to Lewis family tells @skynews: “Generations of the Lewis family support this special football club and they want what the fans want – more wins more often. This is why you have seen recent changes, new leadership and a fresh approach”
