This is pretty incredible. The Social Security Administration is sending out emails to millions of Americans claiming that Social Security is no longer taxed because of the bill that passed yesterday. There's only one catch - it isn't true.

Democrats will mow make Medicaid cuts a midterm election issue. But they face one big question ahead of that: will they shut down the government over extending the ACA tax credits? Premiums will spike and 4.2 million more people will be uninsured (CBO) if the credits lapse.

Maybe they should have realized that the work requirements are going to apply to a whole bunch of soon-to-be-former Congressmen.
In swing districts and states where control of Congress will be determined next year, Republicans are going to talk a lot about tax cuts and try to avoid talking about Medicaid and ACA cuts. Democrats will hammer away at the looming health care cuts Republicans just voted for.

Additionally, this bill will explode the national debt by $3.94 trillion over the next ten years - and that's a conservative estimate. This could set nearly $500 billion in cuts to Medicare into motion, hurting doctors and hospitals.

Ironically, this is in a community that voted for President Trump 3 to 1.
Curtis is a small town of 900 people in rural southwest Nebraska. The Curtis Medical Center announced yesterday it is closing, after more than 30 years. It is the only health care provider in the community. They blame Trump’s Medicaid cuts.
