This is so cool. Tesla Model 3 electric motors (drive units) made in the gigafactory are being used to drive the control surfaces of Starship.
Why these motors look awfully familiar 🤔 so cool seeing @Tesla hardware on @spacex rockets!!! This is a Model 3 drive unit. Not sure if it’s to drive the flaps or something else.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but assuming Arecibo Telescope tragically needs to come down (actively or passively), can we not clean up the wreckage & just let nature take its course? I know that’s weird but I love the idea of future generations uncovering our ancient technology 🤓
