Tony Mansolino said even sending Cade Povich (first start off IL) out for 6th was pushing it, so that's why Povich was pulled with 2 outs in inning. But Mansolino also said that's "without a doubt" the right spot to bring in a righty reliever to face RHH Nick Castellanos.

As a young Oriole fan I learned about the glory days of the 60s-70s and what a model franchise it was. After the 83’ championship success has been only in brief stretches. Most of the past 40 years has been filled with a lot of losing.

It definitely stings watching everything unfold today. Orioles were supposed to be a franchise that was ascending and not selling off players to contenders this deadline. There is much work to be done for 2026.
