Even with a Steph Curry 50 point Game 7, Kevon Looney is the undisputed MVP of this Kings vs Warriors series. Couldn't have been more wrong.
Warrior fans on twitter really presenting Kevon Looney as the counter to Domantas Sabonis with confidence?. It's only Monday. Bout to be a wild week on this app. ๐คฃ.

Shoutout Harrison Barnes. He is the definition of a pro. Regardless of how you felt about him on the court, he was a superstar in the community and is one of the most respected men in the NBA period.
ESPN Sources with @TimBontemps: The Sacramento Kings are agreed on a sign-and-trade that will land DeMar DeRozan on a three-year deal, send Harrison Barnes to the San Antonio Spurs and Chris Duarte, two second-round picks and cash to the Chicago Bulls.

For years, Doug Christie has talked about the unfinished business he feels in Sacramento when it comes to winning the ultimate prize for this city. Kings are a long way away from that still. But Christie coaches on the sidelines like he's still wearing #13 & guarding Kobe.

Maybe because, after years of ineptitude, the Kings fired Fox's favorite coach without consulting him. They've drafted guard after guard. And they wasted their opportunity to improve the roster and build upon 2022-2023. And Fox was made out as the bad guy after the firing, and.
@MattGeorgeSAC Fox said he just wanted to winโฆ weโre 11-4 since firing Mike. Why would he want out now.

Tonight on @ABC10, I shared my final thoughts on the A's leaving Oakland and heading to Sacramento. I wish I could be excited. But I can't. My heart is with Oakland this week.

It can't be overstated how important Malik is to the Kings. Another sign of the culture change in Sacramento. Convincing a top free agent to stay is nothing to take for granted here.
ESPN Sources: Free agent G Malik Monk intends to sign a four-year, $78 million deal โ including a player option โ to return to the Sacramento Kings. Monk had career-bests of 15 points and five assists on his way to the NBAโs Sixth Man of the Year runner-up.
