This is 100% the wrong take. The Lions were cruising down the field at will. Taking the chance to end the game on your on terms was worth the risk. If you kicked, Detroit would have had over 2 minutes to go score a TD and they probably would have.
In my opinion, interim coach Mike Kafka eliminated himself from contention to be Giants coach next year when he decided to go for it on fourth and goal from Lions 6 up 27-24 with about 3 minutes left. Winston threw incomplete, Lions tied it on 59 FG and won in OT. How can you not

The Chiefs are alive and the AFC should be scared. They just took down the “top” team in the AFC and they’re gearing up for a huge playoff run. Absolutely no one wants to face Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs.
