In their new Letter, Deblais et al. use experiments, theory, and simulations to study the very first moments of drop coalescence. In drop-drop and drop-bath configurations, the authors show the key role played by surrounding gas and van der Waals forces πŸ”— https://t.co/6xrILLpo4j
