Two weeks ago I cast my vote. I didn’t do it for me, because as a white male I’ll be fine regardless. I used the power of my vote to protect my wife and my kids. I voted on behalf of my children’s future. Today, in Florida, I lament for my kids.

12:45 update - Even the dog has had enough. He made a move to the living room.

She’s been crying for about 90 min and apparently it doesn’t bother wife, son, or either dog. Just me…. (Yes, I keep checking on her)

The baby and I share a wall. She’s literally 30” from me through two layers of sheet rock. This means her screams always interrupt my dreams.

When I vote I like to picture someone I know that is willfully ignorant and sadly lost in an echo chamber of conspiracy and lies. Then, I take great joy knowing my vote just cancelled theirs.
