Nor’easters and coastal storms have the power to cause widespread devastation, and can affect both coastal and inland areas.
The storm moving up the east coast this weekend will bring a period of gusty, potentially damaging winds to southern New England, especially the Cape and islands. The strongest winds will occur between late Sunday and Monday afternoon.
