I'm not deleting my account as it is handy for complaints and the occasional old mate getting in touch. But now that's all it is useful for, if I ever have anything I think is worth saying it'll be on bluesky - details in bio above.

Wondering whether to bang my head on a wall or get hold of @vodafoneuk for a replacement router as mine is faulty. A new router would be helpful but hitting my head on a wall is more likely to be successful.

"Ten commonnest birds in UK" lists like the one just mentioned on @BBCr4today rarely agree perfectly, but they never feature pheasants. Yet 40-50 million are released into the wild every year Sparrows, wrens, wood pigeons and other table toppers tend to be around 10 million.

Not one Government Minister has called Trump thick or deranged a wanker, despite endless goading by @BBCr4today interviewers. Any chance we could try a different approach @BBCNews?

Good service on the Elizabeth Line according to @Tfl. Yet at Chadwell Heath they have cancelled 3 trains due to overcrowding - though they shot past virtually empty and not the platform increasingly crowded - who'd have thought) . The 1849 is due in 14 minutes.

Nothing to see here, just @limebike casually unloading 15 bikes right across someone's access gate. Interested to know what @hackneycouncil and @metecoban92 will do about it. If I parked one car this inconsiderately I'd rightly be fined. Lime get off scot free.

Given that @hackneycouncil cancelled my visitors parking ticket visitors parking ticket after misreading the number plate and issuing one to an entirely different car, this really should set a precededent. It's not the first time either.

Still no response @sercogroup? It is now 9 days since I told you I was undertaken by one of your vehicles using a bus lane and exceeding the speed limit (which I was driving at). The vehicle was registration number BX70 EUV. Do you intend to do anything about this at all?

Please could I have a response to this @sercogroup. It isn't good enough to ignore people trying to report dangerous and illegal driving by your employees.
@SercoGroup please can you provide contact details for reporting dangerous driving of your vans?

OK, my memory is failing me...but Google has restored it. You must in fact remain "seated and covered" so sit down and wear a hat. Google also tells me they stopped this in 1998.

I see @BBCNews at Ten has managed to do a quick piece on the truly horrific floods in Spain, then followed up with people who don't like pylons and solar power without once mentioning the two issues might be linked.

Still waiting for the delayed 1907 Elizabeth Line train to Paddington. Thank goodness @TFL are running a good service or I would have been here for ages.

Actually checked Overground status on @tfl website before getting off my train as I have an alternative route home and knew there'd been problems earlier today. Good service on that section it said. It bloody isn't.

So is @SuellaBraverman against cancelling free speech in Universities or not? (From @thetimes who didn't seem to spot she is against her views being cancelled, but wants views she disagrees shut down.)

Oh dear @KemiBadenoch. The Net Zero agenda was set by Theresa May, not Ed Miliband.

Tethered bottle caps are required by EU laws that Brexit means the UK had no say in. We get them as no one will make two types just for us. #weholdallthecards (Personal view: a minor inconvenience to reduce plastic waste in our environment. But then I don't froth at the mouth)

If they are adding Welsh words, I'd definitely have expected "Cwtch" to make it into the Oxford dictionary.

Brexit bonus pesticide residue on your food. I never understood Michael Gove's reputation as an effective minister. The only thing he did effectively was to sound sincere before he broke his promises. https://t.co/7Vfbuo2REn

In 2022, Sue Gray was paid £150-155k at the Cabinet Office, which at current prices is £165-£171k. I have no idea if she is worth it but given this information is publicly available (link below) I am struggling with the outrage. https://t.co/vDjWRbMGNH
