911 is for emergency assistance. As Omicron spikes, demand for EMS rises. To avoid overburdening the system, call your doctor for symptoms & exposures - not 911. DO call 911 if you have difficulty breathing, pain or pressure in the chest, confusion, or bluish lips or face.

If you are planning on using a portable heater to keep warm, remember that where you place it can make all the difference. Keep anything that can burn, like bedding, clothing and curtains, at least 3 feet away from your heater and make sure it is on a solid, flat surface.
