Love was well and truly in the air in Dublin Airport last night as this Ryanair air hostess was surprised in T1 arrivals by her boyfriend… (much to the excitement of the others waiting!) 💍
Congratulations to the very happy couple. 💕
Loved the clip of Ruby cheering on Patrick on Livelovelaugh.
Finish line visible on the left of shot, which is also where David Casey appears celebrating at the end. 10/10.
The most amazing performance you’ll ever see in an A7 at Sunderland.
Blue Rizla out the back of the TV for most of the race passes them all on the home straight to record an unbelievable victory.
I wouldn’t usually ask for a photo with those I interview for the podcast, but sometimes you’ve to make an exception.

Hello.
Tánaiste says the Government is considering a 'Double' public holiday on March 17th and 18th next year - and then a new permanent bank holiday for St Brigid's Day from 2023 onwards.
"These protestors should not have been given any credit on the TV"
"They don’t show streakers, why should they show people like that (protestors)?"
@jaggriffin
has questioned the amount of publicity given to animal rights activists in the Grand National coverage.
The internet tries to tell me this is man is the CMO of General Mills, when in reality it is plain to see he is the love child of Michael O’Leary and Davy Russell.
My new podcast - Horse Racing Heroes.

Really enjoyed playing a small part in the production of this one.
Ruby Walsh and

watching back and chatting through some big days at Cheltenham - good and bad.
Worth firing up YouTube on the telly for, I reckon.
OH MY GOODNESS, INDEED!
Letruska found another gear with
@iradortiz
after getting passed in the stretch to defeat the equally game Monomoy Girl in a photo finish. WOW!
I remember watching this at the Quevega bar at Cheltenham.
Hard to hear the commentary, and as they came to the last, a lad behind me goes “C’mon Buveur!”
Didn’t have the heart to tell him.
💚 Espoir D'Allen 💛
He lost just one of his ten races and turned the 2019 Champion Hurdle, aged 5, into a procession. It was his final race.
Sadly, 5 months later, he got spooked, reared over and was fatally injured.

Soon, I release a podcast series. Just a heads up that:
1) While yes, I am a bit mortified, mercifully, it has fairly little input from me. Instead I'm interviewing actually interesting people
2) It's about horse racing, but a bit different to the current offering out there 🤞
He is a champion I reckon. He’s got the run though in the centre. He’s out after the leader. He picks up Stacelita. He powers clear. Sea The Stars, racing away. Perfection in equine form. A horse of a lifetime. He’s just gonna go on and win the Arc by two lengths.
What is your favourite piece of horseracing commentary? 🗣
We’ll start…
“Denman and Sam Thomas, driven out, relentless, remorseless, has pounded Kauto Star into submission. The answer is DENMAN!"
Today is the one year anniversary of Pat Smullen's passing.
So, today's episode of the Horse Racing Heroes podcast is a Pat Smullen special.
A collection of stories and happy memories, from those close to Pat.

Some very kind replies to the below tweet have encouraged me to get my arse in gear and make Season 3 of Horse Racing Heroes.
If anyone’s interested in sponsoring the series, my DMs are open for chat.
I very much welcome episode suggestions in replies too 🫡
Does anyone know of any horse racing podcasts that aren’t betting focused - just talking about horses, stories etc? Probably a bit niche and I know I’m in the minority, but I love listening to people just talk about horses.
Looking for some entertainment during the commute! 😆
Leopardstown has taken the regrettable decision to close the Christmas Festival to the public and only race behind closed doors.

For all the problems facing the sport of horse racing, I think we should be proud of the fact that this gesture has somehow persisted as a celebration in it.
Stunning longevity.
This week's episode of Horse Racing Heroes is about the great SEA THE STARS.
I speak to John Oxx at length about him, as well as a chat with Aussie Jim McGrath about his legendary commentary in that Arc.

Hugely enjoyable making Cheltenham Rewind with

Good craic, Our Conor, Don Cossack, Apple’s Jade, and some incredibly candid conversation from Bryan being just some of the reasons I think you should give it a watch.

Cheltenham Rewind with Rich Ricci - including Annie Power, Faugheen, Vautour, Champagne Fever and more.
Possibly my favourite racing piece we’ve made in PP.
Hope you can make time to watch it here:
Have seen a surprising number of 'racing twitter' members displaying anger at the social media boycott.
I'm not usually one for pontificating, but will offer my views on why it's a good thing.
Obviously, online abuse is relentless, and in racing, particularly towards jockeys.
With the decision about Irish Racing to be made today, I fully expect clarification on what provisions will be made for the women selling Toblerones and bags of fruit outside every race meeting.
This week’s episode of Horse Racing Heroes is about the winner of this incredible race.
The remarkably tough Hardy Eustace.
