Roughly 2.6% of the total ice cream consumed in the US is imported. About 10% of the beef. Also, take an economics class - not sure the Governor of NY has any idea what inflation is.
Trump's tariffs are driving up inflation on summer staples, from beef to ice cream. New Yorkers are feeling the squeeze at checkout. While Trump and his D.C. enablers jack up costs, I’m fighting to put money back in New Yorkers' pockets.

Despite working hard, many New Yorkers feel like they can’t get ahead. I hear them. That's why I'm focused on increasing wages, decreasing rent, building more housing, and putting money back in people's pockets. I'll continue working with anyone to make life more affordable.
