The 2025 caps team is a very good 5v5 team that is incapable of overcoming comically bad special teams, and refuses to make any changes on PP or PK personnel.

Sucks to get swept, but #ALLCAPS are ahead of schedule. Big steps forward this season from CMM, Protas, Lapierre, and Alexeyev. More high-end talent in pipeline with Leonard and Cristall. Need a smart summer from BMac to add some pieces. There’s $ to spend. Future is bright.

Ship off some of the older guys (73, 20, 21, 73) for whatever picks you can get and see if you can flip 3 or 56 for a young D. Call up up the kids (CMM, Protas, Snively) and let them play. At least you develop your players rather than whatever the last 2 months has been.

This current caps team is too old and too slow to do anything. Maybe they sneak in and lose in 5 games to BOS. That’s best case.
