OCEAN: Reconnecting miners with #Bitcoin . Once upon a time, and not so long ago, miners had a much different and more direct relationship with Bitcoin than what they experience today. Miners would run nodes, build local mempools, source transactions, and create block templates.

Like it or not, #Bitcoin’s current reality is massive centralization. The only way out is breaking up the hardware monopoly- with companies like @blocks leading the way and breaking up the legacy pool model by putting miners back in charge of choosing what goes into the.
Looking at the merkle branches that mining pools send to miners as part of stratum jobs, it's clear that the BTCcom pool, Binance pool, Poolin, EMCD, Rawpool, and possibly Braiins* have exactly the same template and custom transaction prioritization as AntPool.

Something I’ve heard @LukeDashjr mention repeatedly in criticism of ordinal theory is that it is incompatible with the fungible nature of Bitcoin. One sat is one sat, and any notion otherwise is not only technically inaccurate (making it a lie) but undermines the fungible nature.

Congratulations on block three to all OCEAN miners 🎉. The miner used the standard template which filters spam and as a result block 823129 included ~1400 more real financial transactions that otherwise would have been left out in the cold. This is the cleanest block #Bitcoin.

Most other pools specify their own Bitcoin address here which results in the pool taking custody of the block rewards.

@Pledditor @CoinDesk people end up with different definitions. eg @lukedashjr who seems to have been censored by @twitter, will claim a soft-fork must have clear text values (CT not a soft-fork) and that UTXOs must be visible to un-upgraded nodes (extension blocks not a SF, but taproot is a SF).

@cobain_eduardo “full pay per share”. Essentially the pool rents hashrate from the miner at a calculated hash price and then mines directly to the pool. The hash price formula excludes the highest paying blocks resulting in the pool taking in more money on average than is paid out to the miners.

We announced at the DATUM launch on Sept 29 that OCEAN would start charging fees at 2% for all centralized templates, and 1% for.
