Earlier today, ISO-NE opened up its board meeting for public comment โ€” for the first time. What followed was an hour-long dressing down, as commenters repeatedly called on the grid operator to step up its response to the climate crisis. https://t.co/Y3puo16IpW via @BostonGlobe

Biden literally reads Rick Scott's plan to get rid of Social Security and Medicare to the audience in Florida, and after talking about Scott and Sen. Ron Johnson says, "Who in the hell do they think they are?"

Do I have this right? Shell raked in $9.45 billion in profits last quarter and has announced $4 billion in stock buybacks, but American consumers are supposed to blame government spending for inflation?

Wellesley was finalizing plans for two new schools and a town hall renovation โ€” all fully electric โ€” when it got an offer from National Grid for $1.5 million to support the electrification. But with a caveat: To get the rebate, it had to install gas lines.

Climate advocates say an offer from National Grid and its terms underscore how the business interests of gas utilities put climate efforts at risk.

Glad to see this story from @shankman re MA DPUโ€™s animus toward municipal aggregation. Earlier this week it was made clear the DPU was negligent in its oversight of the T, compromising safety. Today itโ€™s DPUโ€™s obstruction of MA residents to aggregate & save $. #MADPUDysfunction

Across MA, communities want to take advantage of a program that lets them control their electricity supply, often greening their power and saving money. But long delays at the DPU are coming at a costโ€”to residents' bottom line, and to the climate.
