Glad to know I never have to take Gruber’s opinion seriously ever again.
Whenever it comes up, people ask why I so dislike the LOTR movies. Here it is: Peter Jackson is to the language of cinema what Dan Brown is to prose. A hamfisted hack. Obviously, many millions of people can enjoy terribly directed films and terribly written novels. I can’t.

Kinda crazy that Apple in 2025 released a base iPhone 17 with double the storage and the Pros with 50% more RAM at no extra cost. I know their margins more than allow for this (and then some lol) but it’s gonna contribute a lot to their value perception among consumers.

Morons still believing we live in iOS 6 days. 🤣 🤦♂️ For a lot of stuff Apple Maps has been better for me than Google Maps even here in Germany. And “usable” is such a ridiculously low bar that it clears without blinking.
Apple maps is actually soooo pretty, I wish it was actually usable :(

God how I despise superfluous blinking lights on tech. I can kinda forgive it on an external battery where I have no other way of knowing its charge level but why the f*** would I want it on a laptop where I have a huge screen that can show me that info.
Maybe it’s just me but i miss MacBook battery indicators.. such an underrated feature
