A few years ago I found a single paintbrush on my property. Since I try to avoid the use of chemicals, I pull weeds by hand to protect my welcome visitors. Now my lot is streaked with 60 or so paintbrush plants. I love my wild #Arizona neighbors.

My favorite is route 87 early morning drive Phoenix to Payson also the return drive about 1 hour and 1/2 before start in Payson to Phoenix. Breathing taking views always at every turn. @MarcBianco
Town & Country's list of the 60 most scenic roads in America included 89A in Oak Creek Canyon. While that's an excellent choice, I can think of several other #Arizona highways that qualify. As the author of "Arizona's Scenic Roads & Hikes," I know this state is road trip nirvana.
