Why did I do that to myself? I decided to break down and watch Gladiator II… With the exception of the fight scene in the flooded arena…everything was pretty terrible. The story itself was a flat and unconvincing rehash of a far better film and the acting was…*shudders*

Knowing the difference between these three types of wetlands will help you draw them accurately on your fantasy maps. If it’s a marsh…then there shouldn’t be trees. If it’s a bog, then there shouldn’t be a lot of flowing water.
