Isn't flattery an empty compliment? I absolutely meant what I said. I don't really like the taste of most alcohols all on their own, so the fruit helps.

Flattery will get you an entire pitcher of good drinks. I know you like the fruity ones instead of the stronger tasting ones.

It’s not about who fell first or who fell harder, it’s about the small miracle of loving each other at the same time. God knows how easy it is to miss that window entirely, to stumble too late, when the other person is already back on their feet, walking away.
