It's after all a war in the microcosm. And, a tiny contribution from our end.
New paper alert!!๐๐ฅ๐๐ Survival of the resistant: When Myxococcus xanthus dies, antibiotic-resistant microbes rise, even without drug exposure. Our manuscript is now online at @CurrentBiology ๐๐๐ https://t.co/u9ZLAbf0DA

On the footsteps of my mentor, Olivier Hamant, penned an article for Robustness and Sub-optimality for Bioeconomy. Aligning with the BioE3 policy, we need to focus on robustness for sustainable agronomy practices.
The ongoing #BioE3policy awareness campaign competition results were announced at the #GlobalBioIndia2024. Dr Debasis Dash gave an overview of the entries received and declared the winners in the presence of dignitaries on dais. @DBTIndia @rajesh_gokhale @Ddash_Debasis

At the Nexus of proliferation and differentiation. Finding the origins of MIR319C mediated proliferation by CUCs. Well done @Navi_plantsigns !
Preprint alert! Check out our recent research on how cell proliferation is sustained in leaf founder cells via activity of boundary transcription factor and microRNA.

Before I became vice president and before I was elected as U.S. senator, I was the attorney general of California. Before that, I was a prosecutor who took on predators, fraudsters, and cheaters. So I know Donald Trumpโs type. In this campaign, I will put my record against his.

The idea of suboptimality and robustness, brilliantly put forth by Olivier.
To explore the idea of debunking biological optimization thanks to systems thinking, see QPB EiC Olivier Hamants manifesto "Antidote to the cult of performance" that puts quantitative thinking & robustness from nature on the map of sustainable development๐ https://t.co/2f11mOFXQg

Every new beginning comes from some of the beginnings end. It was a great Franco-Indian partnership spirited meeting.
The Plant Bio workshop concluded with great enthusiasm to continue as an international network working together towards common goals-sharing expertise, resources-aid in training students in an interdisciplinary environment! New Plant network emerged from IISERs! @IFCPAR
