No shade to our liberal candidate. She’s a great councillor and person. This just wasn’t the time.

Not impressed with what I’m seeing for our riding. A solid, proven MPP may lose to an annoying pc city councillor. Really not the best time for a weak party to put up a ln otherwise good candidate. Vote splitting, coupled with voter apathy, is going to sink us. Again. 😒

I’d vote early, but my advance polling station isn’t on a bus route and the sidewalks and roads from the nearest bus stop are shit.

For the love of butter tarts, if you’re going to “shop Canadian,” please don’t boycott products that are made in Canada/with Canadian products or ingredients just because the company is American. Think of the employees. Don’t punish them for who owns their place of work.

I’m concerned about this snap provincial election. We have a solid NDP MPP in this riding. Now a very good city councillor is going to be the Liberal candidate. Vote splitting is a definite problem. I wish the two parties would put the people of Ontario first and work together.

The app is pointless then. Why would I register a card on an app after I’ve used it and left the city? Do we just use our debit cards on the busses themselves, or do we have to spend time still buying a card somewhere?

At least with the @NiagaraTransit app, you get it, you connect to your credit card and it’s immediately useful.

I’m not a fan of what Corus replaced channels with (Flavour for Food Network, Home for HGTV, etc). But what I really dislike is that Cogeco will stick with them, which means we now have unwanted content and have to pay someone else extra to get the content we want.
