Michael Jackson had a non-existent childhood because of his monster of a father. In Eriksonian psychology, he never developed fully, so when he finally had the means to do anything in life, he mentally retreated to childlike wonder. Hollywood was brutally harsh to him.

Other people have pointed this out but the red flower petals flying up towards Goliath to simulate blood from the stone in order to show it in a kids film is such an amazing and artistic way to execute this. It’s amazing to see a religious film have this much love in it.

Update! After careful testing, I’ve settled on #Krita as my #art program replacement for #Photoshop. It’s very similar to PS but w a nicer interface. Still figuring out the Tools but I’m really enjoying it! Below I’m trying out the different Brush options to match my PS settings.

With my new computer I unfortunately have to give up #Photoshop CS5 which I’ve been using for many years. (No, I am NOT paying for a subscription.) So far the free #art programs #Krita & #GIMP. Krita is looking like the winner, but I may still look at #FireAlpaca & #IbisPaint. 🎨
