Jack spoke at Central Bedfordshire College about ways we cope with challenges and the helpful strategies we use. Discussions are a great way of creating shared knowledge – if your usual go-to coping strategy isn’t working, why not ask a friend what they do and give it a try?

Our speakers have been busy this last half term sharing their stories in schools across the UK. We loved this feedback from our visit to @RydeAcademy - speakers Spike and Luke inspired resilience, and awareness of the achievements people living with a disability are capable of.

Its Children’s Mental Health Week and this year the theme is ‘Let’s Connect’. Our speakers find all sorts of connections with the young people they share their stories with. Connecting with others can help us all feel less alone and hopeful as we work through life's challenges
