Veteran Mark Howard never stops pushing limits. This year, he crossed the O2 in his wheelchair, then completed the London Marathon just 3 days later. He’s already raised £500k+ through incredible challenges, and now he aims to complete the Three Peaks Challenge.

🎉🇬🇧 Happy 100th to Blesma Member Eric Lucas – one of the last surviving D-Day veterans!. At 18 he landed on Normandy, later lost his leg in the Netherlands, but never let it hold him back. Thank you, Eric, for your service and sacrifice 🇬🇧🇬🇧

At just 22, John Booth was taken as a PoW in Singapore. He survived double leg amputation without anaesthetic, returned home, raised a family, and walked on prosthetics for 70 years. A proud Blesma Member from 1946 until his passing in 2016. #VJDay80 #NeverForgotten

Arthur ‘Bomber’ Dennis fought on the Arakan Front and at Kohima, one of the fiercest battles of WW2 in the Far East. He was wounded in 1944, amputated in 1946, and supported by Blesma for life. We honour his service this VJ Day. #VJDay #Kohima #WW2

"I thought: I'm dead, I'm done.". Stephen, a former 2nd Royal Tank Regiment soldier, lost his leg above the knee in an IED blast in Basra in 2007. Along the way, Stephen found invaluable support among Blesma Members, and now he is avidly into CrossFit!💪. #Blesma
