Rest well, Jim
Got into Uganda and just learnt that our former student at @MakLiterature passed on last week. I still remember him asking me to be at his wedding, and the chats we had about marriage and fatherhood. Death still is cruel and yet we live on. Journey well @muhangi_jimmy.

Listening to the conversations at the Kampala Writes Litfest hosted by @MakLiterature at @MakerereCHUSS and @GZ_Kampala and @UgBritish, I'm forced to rethink my academic engagement with notions of the Festival's theme: Belonging.
