Funded by the @IDRC_CRDI & the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) through the Cultivate Africa’s Future Fund Phase (CultiAF2), the NutriFishPlus Project will cover 9 landing sites around Lakes Victoria, Kyoga & Albert. @ACIARAustralia

While small pelagic fish like Mukene (silver fish) are nutrient-rich & abundant, overall fish consumption is low (about half the FAO recommended amount). High post-harvest losses & export reduce domestic availability. The NutriFishPlus Project aims to scale-up consumption.
