A full house for Monsoon Breeze. An independent film, a quiet evening, and a room full of people who chose to slow down and watch. Lovely conversations with the filmmaker and everyone who stayed back. Chennai continues to surprise us. ❤️ #MFSC #filmScreening #spotlight

@AshishRajadhyaksha , the eminent film scholar who co-edited Encyclopaedia of Indian Cinema and taught on film theory, sees in Aziz a filmmaker fully in control of both form and storytelling. This is praise coming from one of India’s cinema study pillars.
