In the coming days and weeks, the best ways to provide support will become apparent. Although I'm still new, I have felt welcomed and supported by this community, and I want to express my deepest sympathy for those impacted by this tragedy.

I never could have predicted how my first week at Carnegie would unfold. The Eaton fire destroyed structures 2.5 km away from the Pasadena offices. Soot falls like rain, and hazardous smoke fills every office. An incomprehensible number of people have lost everything.

This opens a whole new world for analysing the chemical evolution of external galaxies through their globular cluster populations 🔭🤩 Steph is a phenomenally talented scientist and I'm so excited to be part of this research 🥰.
