Big career decisions don’t come with a map, but all you need is a compass. The right next move is the one that brings you a step closer to living your core values. In an unpredictable world, you can’t make a master plan. You can only gauge whether you’re on a meaningful path.

Not succeeding at first is totally normal. If you develop a great Plan B, it’s easier to deal when Plan A doesn’t work out. My career path is thanks to a number of Plan Bs that became Plan A and I could not be happier about how that worked out. Failure is inevitable, not a flaw.
