It’s really sad watching what Nolan Arenado has become at the plate. If no one offers the cards a deal just let him finish the year off and move on. Hate to say it but it’s really time to find a new third baseman.

Cards doing the right thing. Get as much young talent as possible, play these young kids next year and go for it all in ‘27 #STLCards.
Initial thoughts: I think the Cardinals did well here. Baez is just 20 with a 123 wRC+ in High-A. Dohm was one of my favorite arms in last year’s class (strong FB traits, good gyro-SL). Elissalt’s a low-launch righty with a mid-90s FF and a deep mix of intriguing secondaries.

I can’t stand anything about Philadelphia sports but I can’t even lie that their stadium is going to be absolutely nuts when this plays. Many layers to this with the bell, undertaker, etc. Probably one of the best entrances for a closer.

Gone: Arenado/Helsley/Maton/Matz/Pages and if the package is absolutely right, I’d send Sonny out as well. All these things need to be done by Thursday. Do what’s right for the future and let the young kids keep playing while trying to get young talent in trade market.

1. The Cardinals aren't planning on trading Donovan . 2. If the Yankees were to convince the Cardinals to trade Donny, the package would have to include one, if not both, of Spencer Jones and Cam Schlittler. 3. The Astros don't have anyone who should interest the Cardinals.

This is one of the reasons I can’t stand what this organization has done over the last few years. I don’t want to hear about his clock. If the kid is good enough, you bring him up to play. It’s that simple. Are you looking at the longevity/success of this team or worried about $$.

This dude for me can be a major difference maker in this defense. Has played for 2 pretty bad teams so hopefully this sparks him to be the top talent he was drafted to become.
Isaiah Simmons has flashed his speed on both days of #Packers training camp. Not just by my eyes. Josh Jacobs called him a “unicorn” with that speed after Simmons busted up a screen on Day 1. Intriguing part is, Simmons says he still doesn’t think he’s playing fast yet.
