There’s a growing movement of people who recognize we not only need to build more homes, but that they must be high quality & lovely as well. We can do both, if only common sense is legalized Join us, we don’t bite! We just want everyone to have a lovely neighborhood to live in!

People are always complaining about modern apartment buildings. What they don't realize is that it's our insane development laws that force them into existence in the first place. Legalize housing like that on the left!

Here's my letter to Mayor and Council, supporting Vancouver's Broadway Plan. I may write more on this some day, but now I gotta tap out and get back to work on my book. Sorry if I don't respond to mssgs.

BREAKING: Vancouver has long suffered from zoning disputes. Locals often quash housing projects in the name of "neighbourhood character". But this group of concerned citizens has a new target - English Bay's "disrespectful" cargo ships. Our reporters have the scoop: 👇🧵 #bcpoli

In a single month, one shopping site offered more than 19,000 leopard-print products for sale, with an average price of $425. If one per cent of the sale of each of those items went to support leopard conservation, it would raise $8 million.

Style-setters from Egyptian princesses to Jackie Kennedy to Debbie Harry have embraced leopard prints. Proponents of a “species royalty” want designers to pay to help save endangered big cats.

Grateful to @TheTyee and @_jackiewong for letting me write about the backlash that follows any "historical" monument's removal, and the stories we tell in our public spaces.
