Achievement: Unlocked. Alhamdulellah, got to give my first talk on the biggest GI stage in the world: DDW. Something that would've never crossed my mind 2 years ago. Wouldn't have made it if it wasn't for the support of my family, mentors, friends, and my IM program at HF.

Trying to keep this account professional, but oh boy, if you only knew how much I wanna talk about The Blacklist, Lost, and all my favorite Greek mythology snippets. December couldn’t feel any further.

It resonates not just as a line of dialogue, but as a reflection of human endurance. It doesn’t sugarcoat suffering. It acknowledges pain as a potential permanent companion. Time does not heal, but it softens. Grief may never fully disappear, but life continues, and we adapt.

Reddington once said: There is nothing that can take the pain away. But eventually, you will find a way to live with it. There will be nightmares. And every day, when you wake up, it will be the first thing you think about. Until one day, it’s the second.

It is very hard to make peace with the fact that we will never see something like this again.

Mixing caffeine with high functioning anxiety on a full clinic day and seeing whether you're going to be productive and sharp or shaky and die.

I am not courageous. Only the poor have courage. Why? Because they’re hopeless. To get up every morning to plow a potato field in wartime, to bring kids with no prospects into the world. To live poor…that takes courage.

It is today, Thursday, May 29th, and after 500 prior studies that looked as calm as a yoga retreat, I finally saw a routine 20-min EEG showing seizures. Miracles do happen guys, never stop believing.
