We have continued with our operation across Waterloo & Southbank in partnership with @MPSSpecials. Just as the shift was drawing to an end plain clothes officers spotted 2 acting suspiciously. Stop & Searched and 4 stolen 📲 recovered and returned to victims. 2 now in custody

The team have just made their 6th arrest of our partnership operation with @MPSSpecials. Our colleagues have just had a successful Stop and Search which resulted in the finding of a large amount of suspected MDMA. Suspect now in custody for possession with intent to supply.

As part of our weekend of action we have been joined by our colleagues from @MPSSpecials who are assisting with both plain clothes and uniformed officers providing additional visibility across the area. Across the weekend they are volunteering 47 shifts between them.

We now have arrest number 5, this time we have arrested a male for theft from Boots in York Road. Male was seen to walk in, fill a bag of several hundred pounds of goods and then walk straight out and into the arms of several plain clothes officers

We have followed this up with a 4th arrest on Westminster Bridge for a suspect who was breaching their Community Protection Notice to not be illegally trading on the Bridge.

Another operation was conducted to target those taking advantage of tourists on Westminster Bridge through illegal gambling. Three arrests have been made .^Insp Watson

Our Clapham team have been out on visible patrol in Clapham High Street today engaging with the local community. A number of local stores were visited to discuss issues of theft they are experiencing. We are now putting together a plan to tackle this issue
