Good Morning and welcome back to our live posts. These will be continuing through out the day.
Yesterday there was a very good reason we gave PC Roberts words of advice about teh use of the "Q" word as there was then a flurry of arrests that followed! ^Sgt Watson 🧵
Some couldn't make it - instead they affected an arrest for suspicion of threats to commit arson and assault.
Our officers were asked to help local detectives in arresting a high-harm offender, who presented such a risk that they had to be stopped immediately.
^Sgt Walsh
We've had some kind words from people here:
'It's nice to know that officers are back around' - Restaurant Owner
'There's no drug dealing when you guys turn up - they all disappear!' - Market Stall Owner
Our officers do care, and want to keep you safe.
The Q word strikes again.

Knife arches are commonly seen at major events and secure locations.

Arrests are used as an investigative tool and to prevent harm when it is necessary to do so.
But they can only achieve so much.
We routinely offer partner services to help people out of situations that lead to crime.
