Today we charged the male with theft and remanded him in custody to attend Croydon Magistrates Court in the morning.
Unlucky evening for this suspect. He didn't realise he had plain clothes officers 10 metres behind him when he decided to steal a bag from a victim enjoying the evening sun on the SouthBank. Stolen bag returned to victim before he even realised he was a victim 🛍️ @MPSSpecials
