Let a man and his daughter in after we'd just closed, as he said they HAD to get some bagels as she said they were 'the best in the world'. Whether they are or not doesn't matter, but they are to someone, and to hear that after a long day feels so good!

Picked up a treat from @MOSTbakery1 for later as popped in to get colleague a pastry. No evidence of pastry as it was devoured instantly. Great to see Matt and his other half (aka the boss) too. There’s too much choice though. P.s. What’s in a Basque Cheesecake?

Was great to teach you!
Just enjoyed my belated (2019 Xmas present), finally learning how to bake sourdough c/o @OMBHale and @FoodSorcery. It was a great day! Hopefully my bake tomorrow lives up to this one! Now to think of as good a name for my starter as Clint Yeastwood
