Responses decreased touch by touch, but was this sensory or just whisker touches getting weaker? Controlling for this motor effect demonstrates sensory adaptation was present. Very proud of contributing to this work by @AndreaColins, Ingo Schiessl, @Michaela_Loft and @RasSPet 2/2

Really happy to see this study, led by @AndreaColins, finally in a journal! Do sensory responses in the barrel cortex adapt during active sensing in awake animals? Using 3D whisker tracking, Andrea analyzed experiments in which mice touched a pole with their whiskers. 1/2
