This team is beautiful and built to win everything and make us happy and proud. If you can’t see that as a Real Madrid fan I feel sorry for you.

I’m not trying to be contrarian, but I think this defeatist doom-and-gloom mindset about Real Madrid’s season before a single game is played is extremely exaggerated. I truly believe this season will turn out to be a great one.

Whoredridistas who act like they have PhDs in “control” getting schooled by my black kings Caicedo and Reece 🤍

RT @umirf1: Chelsea have been unbelievable. Honestly, unbelievable. Individual, tactical, intensity, on all fronts so good.

At the end of the day, the team that wants it more takes it. Discipline and commitment to the game plan, matching or surpassing the opponent’s intensity, patience and hunger to seize the moment when opportunity strikes. That’s really all there is to it in these games.

Also look at how Chelsea, just like Bayern, keep creating danger with cutbacks. We did nothing to capitalize on it despite our box crashing and ball striking. The last game was practically tailored for us, and we completely threw it away. It is what it is.

PSG’s right side is a defensive liability and we had two of the finest operators of that flank be hideous twins.

We probably would’ve lost anyway because we were terrible as a collective in and out of possession, but those two early mistakes made it impossible from the start.

One of the scariest talents I’ve ever laid eyes on. As a seasoned and successful investor, I’d strongly advise buying at least $1 of his stock because this is an atomic bomb waiting to explode.

For the last time: we had Kroos and Modrić, and still lacked control in big games because the system wasn’t built for it. Players like Vitinha or Pedri are able to do their thing because their teams provide the system and conditions for them to do so.

Kroos did say we’re missing a player like him, but first and foremost, he emphasizes the system over the personnel. When we execute the system properly, one of our midfielders naturally becomes that player. Kroos wasn’t born a controller. The systems he played in made him one.

You attack as a unit, you defend as a unit. Your team has 11 attackers when in possession and 11 defenders when out of possession. When players get excused for not doing half their jobs because they do the other half at an elite level, problems arise; and teams stop functioning.

Here, Kroos reinforces the point I made the other day that a team’s in-possession and out-of-possession phases aren’t separate or independent of each other.

đź—Ł Toni Kroos on Real Madrid's problems: "To get back to the top, the most important thing in my opinion is the approach, a system, and how that new system would work and be implemented. And from that, you measure which player is missing, depending on the type of football you

The media are vultures by nature, so I take everything they report in times like these with a pinch of salt. But I’d be lying if I said I haven’t at least considered the possibility that it might be true. There’s just too much circumstantial evidence to ignore.

My agendas on our players depend on how much lies and fiction surround them. If a player gets overhyped with lies, I’ll push back so hard it might seem like I’m a hater. If a player gets slandered with lies, I’ll defend them to the point they earn a lifelong fan in me.
