Didn’t get the chance to listen to Day 1 live, but after watching it back (and watching Day 2 today), it’s clear to me that “A to Zheng” needs to be a mainstay segment on stream. First time in four years of VGC watching I haven’t tuned out during broadcast breaks, great idea!!

I can confirm that it’s Limit 1 per customer with a total of 50 codes per store. An employee confirmed it on the phone and another employee confirmed it at the store. Luckily managed to snag one but really really crappy distribution event overall ☹️

No luck at either of my local Gamestop’s for the shiny legendary codes. Super disappointing to go there at 3:00PM on day of release and be told they’re fully out with no plans to receive any more before the end concludes If anyone miraculously has extra, I would appreciate it ♥️

I think I am a bad example of the new point system though. My results are heavily skewed towards IRL events anyway AND I had mediocre GC results. Combine those two with the nerfing of GC points means about 95% of my 2026 season will come from IRL tourneys. Let’s see how it goes!

Just went and recalculated my 2025 point totals using the new 2026 numbers… Even with filtering out other regions/upping BFL from 3 to 4, just 3-5% of my point total would come from GCs if I had same results. I’m personally a big fan of this, but I can see why others aren’t

Anyone know what the ELO threshold would have been for Top 8 in a GC last year for NA? Guessing around 1700 but not sure and wouldn’t know where to look

Here is the rental of the team I used. I felt very lost in the prep process throughout all of July, but found a team used in VictoryRoad that really resonated with me. I think a few EV/move tweaks and it would have had more potential in problem matchups, but that’s on me. GG’s!

I finished 5-3 at the most difficult World Championship ever! It’s tough to have another result that is so close, but it motivates me to continue improving my game. Highlight of my run is knocking out Fedecampo (incredibly nice btw). I’ll try my best to be back here next year!♥️
