39 years ago, on the night before daddy's funeral I stayed with this woman, in the safety of her home, with her brilliant mother. They gave a child solace in a time of great fear. If ever a woman in this world deserves to be raised up by her 5 sons it's Catherine 🥰 #DerryIFC

Folks - an little boy with autism will only wear this particular colour of half zip - his mum is now trying to find an age 9-10 size, either used or new. If anyone has one could you get in touch as this colour/fabric is no longer in stock. Thanks 👍 RTs appreciated 😊

I've sat here through two u17 finals and I'd love any rule maker in the GAA to come here and tell me which of these 60 players they think are ready for senior football next year - because I've not seen one. Nowhere even near ready. These age groups need changed!

My big brother Sean turned 70 last week. As the youngest of nine, I idolised him growing up. He spoiled me, loved & cared for me like a father rather than a brother. Today Callan Kelly wept in the arms of his wee sister Maddison on the whistle, and I thought of my hero Sean Kane

Important to say Dominic lay on the pitch with a badly broken leg for 70 mins waiting on an ambulance - before we were forced to make the judgement call to get him to A&E in the back of a van - & so we fashioned a splint from a hurl so we could move him safely. A team effort👏

I've seen them learn to walk. Learn to run. Learn to play. I've watched out the window at their laughter, the fights, the fun, the tears. I let them use my garden as a shortcut to the pitch. I've seen them loose finals and win finals. 20 years is a blink. #Neighbours 🙂

Two great servants to their club, brave, strong minded, committed and fearless - Moira Jane is a critical to the team as the man beside her

Friendships in sport can last a lifetime. The role of the GAA has never been more important to society than in 2020. Keeping young people in routine, help them form relationships, meet routines, learn discipline, be healthy - the list is endless, the benefits are many #GAA

That's me off the clock for the holidays folks - thank you to everyone who bought pics and shared my work over the year. Particular thanks to all the clubs in Derry for their help with parking and supplying cups of tea! 😋 Merry Christmas and good health to all. 🌲🎅🍷MKB

Yes I'm biased - but when papers are being cut to ribbons, or even facing closure the commitment to local sport by the @derrypost is peerless & deserves credit. This week we've hurling, camogie, schools, club GAA, rugby, soccer, running, ladies football, and it's only February!
