A day off, and, of course, this means time to prepare a Lady Gaga banana for the kids packed lunch

Very clear and helpful address to @thetimes readers explaining how media law works. We need more of this. Media literacy is increasingly important for everyone. Why we do not allow comments on our stories about Andrew https://t.co/PufcVCDawW

Tremendous togetherness amongst the fan base tonight. Best atmosphere for a while. Fans know it’s on. Please don’t take my City away. The supporters are the club’s best asset - board take note.

Here's my story about Jesse Jackson. In 2012, I was offered an interview with him for the Evening Standard. Of course, I accepted. Who would turn down a chance to meet a historic figure who had been a friend of Dr Martin Luther King? more follows...

iPad left in a black cab tonight Journey was from Waterloo Station to Embankment Gardens. The passenger couldn’t get home to the countryside due to SWR disruption. A retweet would massively help get this iPad back to its owner. 🙏

Regardless of who does it, when one curling team sweeps in front of the opponent’s stone it feels, somehow, unsporting

Great idea to give free tickets to grassroots clubs. Better than leaving seats empty. I have long been urging the same at Chelsea.
As I've said many a time I've took my lads football team to old Trafford a few times on free tickets given by United to grassroots clubs It should be applauded not mocked Kids should be able to go the game and not be thinking football is a tv show

City bosses could afford to make every ticket a fiver and still not impact the bottom line. Sponsors, TV, kit deals, hospitality. Even the new hotel, it would absorb the shortfall immediately if they only wanted to make the same profits as five years ago when still winning all.

Could be word for word written about City
@hellierd There were 6 empty season ticket seats near me last night in the Matthew Harding Upper. Chelsea have made it difficult to pass on your ticket, limiting it to members, and the ticket exchange is hard to track down as the club want to flog their expensive East Stand tickets first

It’s a title race & fans want to back the players. No disconnect between fans & manager or players but there is between fans & directors. City’s resellers now selling tickets for tonight at less than the regular seat price! It’s a shambles from the top of the club downwards.

Empty seats at Spurs and Everton last night. It’s time we fans stopped the bantering of other clubs and put pressure on all clubs to address the issues. It worked on the Super League and away tickets.

My favourite ever Manchester City memory was when I was able to transfer my season ticket to somebody else without having to clear three levels of security…. Oh, and get tickets for away games without have a YouTuber stood next to me filming a last minute penalty..

Surely this latest madness will one day be seen as peak VAR madness. A goal binned off so a red card can be given for a foul committed against a member of the scoring team leading to the goal. Undeniable idiocy, in plain sight.
