Nags Head Golf Club, Nags Head, NC. Fantastic scenery, tight, narrow course with lots of forced carries. Resort prices. Bring lots of golf balls. If it's windy, it's impossible. Could've been a links, but it's not.

Panola Mountain Golf Course, Ellenwood, Ga. Scruffy public course, 10 holes for $27.95, plus a full 18 hole course, similarly priced. Very hilly, greens were surprisingly good. Fun to play, got my first birdie of 2025 on a short par 4.
