P1 Room 7 enjoyed their trip to Broomhill Park care home today where they learned all about the work the carers do to help the residents. The pupils got to see were residents live and eat and what supports they need to help them do every day activities. @schoolbroomhill

P1 R7 have finished their brilliant turkey colour wheels. We have been discussing how to make secondary colours using primary colours and will use our colour wheels to help us mix colours for our next art project. @schoolbroomhill #overcomingchallenges #beingcreative

P1 R7 have been very busy this morning working on their new sounds. They have been working on their letter formation and on being able to spot their sounds in words and objects. P1 have also been practising their sounding out and blending.

Primary one have been creating art work based on Giraffes can’t Dance. They painted their own backgrounds were they learned about blending and smoothing their paint. They also drew their own Dancing Giraffes. @schoolbroomhill #makinglearningfun
