You have no right to a gun. You are not a militia. When you’re talking about your second amendment rights you’re talking about a states right to have what is today the national guard. The modern interpretation of 2A is a ridiculous fraud pushed for decades by the gun lobby.

Eleven years ago, 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was pursued, shot, and killed by an armed vigilante while walking home from a Florida convenience store. Trayvon’s family will never receive justice—in part because of Florida’s Shoot First law, which essentially makes murder legal.

We can stop gun violence. We don’t have to live like this. It’s time for our politicians to wake up and do something about it.

5 years ago, we marched to demand basic gun safety measures after Parkland. We’re still here, still pissed, and still fighting to live free of gun violence.

Schools should be a place of safety, of education, not a place where students fear for their lives. When will enough ever be enough? How many more lives have to be taken until our representatives take action? We can't keep living like this. We cannot keep dying like this.

As we closely follow the active shooting at Michigan State University and wait for updates, we cannot stop but think: When will it be enough? Students cannot live like this. We cannot keep surviving like this.
