📢 Our contract has been ratified by our membership! Today, with 92% participation, 91% of voting members opted to ratify our 2024-26 contract with a 1-year salary reopener. This contract is the result of the collective effort of all of our members. We're ready for 2025 & 2026!

My biggest takeaway from @MFJUnion’s strike is that when workers fight, we win. But it was always in managements power to give us an offer that wouldve avoided a strike. @BxDUnion workers are going to win. Management choosing to get there the hard way is just ego and stupidity.
A fair contract will allow @BronxDefenders to retain staff, leading to better representation for the people of the Bronx. Yet instead of coming to the table with reasonable offers, Management is prioritizing making plans that will draw out a strike. 🧵(1/4)
