Absolutely
Absenteeism is a major issue in schools, placing a heavy burden on students & parents to make up work. The greater burden falls on teachers though, who must create a system to ensure students can stay caught up. With absences increasing, this adds even more tasks to already full

We read up on Oliver Smoot today at @TheCreekMCMS , then tested out some other units of measurement around the lab!
MIT alumnus Oliver Smoot lay down repeatedly on the Mass Ave Bridge in 1958 so that his fraternity brothers could use his height to measure the length of the bridge. Today, you can use Google's Unit Converter to convert units of length to smoots, the height of Oliver Smoot.
