Rehabilitation of houses for needy families in Ruhashya Sector, @HuyeDistrict not only transformed their homes but also showcased the spirit of solidarity and commitment of Mastercard Foundation Scholars at the @Uni_Rwanda to creating lasting change. #SummerCamp2025.

As we near the end of the week-long #SummerCamp2025, Mastercard Foundation Scholars at the @Uni_Rwanda joined residents of Ruhashya Sector, @HuyeDistrict, to renovate 12 houses for families in need, a powerful act of community impact as service-oriented young leaders.

Thanking @Rwandapolice for an inspiring session on Gender Equality & the fight against Gender-Based Violence. Understanding that gender equality is a fundamental principle of #Rwanda’s Constitution empowers our Scholars as they grow to shape the future of Africa. #SummerCamp2025

DAY 5 | #summercamp2025 .The Mayor of @HuyeDistrict, Mr. @A_sebutege, also addressed the Scholars, with special focus on patriotism:. “Let’s always ask ourselves how we can serve the nation. Let’s work together, as we are the ones to shape the future of our continent." He said.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. @mdkayihura, urged Mastercard Foundation Scholars at @Uni_Rwanda to maintain a positive attitude to achieve their goals. “Positivity fuels progress. A positive mindset turns challenges into opportunities & dreams into reality,” he said. #SummerCamp2025
