Our Impact of Strip Tillage on Sorghum Emergence trial was planted at Brookstead, as part of GRDC's Improving Sorghum Establishment and Reliability project. You can see there are visual differences in the treatments, which relate to different timings of strip till. @GRDCNorth

We are still seeing the effects of the frosts from last month in our Wheat Phenology sites 🌾❄️ The frost damage is showing up in a number of wheat varieties. This highlights the importance of choosing the right variety based on maturity and time of sowing.

🌾MCA Wheat Phenology Project🌾 This is Time Of Sowing 1 at Tosari, planted on the 1/5/24, this photo was taken today 13/8/24. As you can see the Mustang wheat is showing significant frost damage after many days of heavy frosts a few weeks ago, temps getting down to -2c ❄️🧊
