FYI: Former Pontiac mayor Deirdre Waterman, who is under investigation by the FBI for allegedly misspending $1.6 million in public money, got only 4% of the vote in the mayoral primary last night.

And YES, I have met people who go to therapy and don’t put in the work and just spout therapy words to everyone. It’s the same as a medical doctor telling you to change your diet — either you listen or keep throwing money into the void. It doesn’t mean the practice doesn’t work.

The more people are in therapy, the more people are diagnosed. It’s really so absurdly simple. Also, this discourse AGAIN?!.
If therapy in general really works then why are depression and anxiety rates at historic highs while therapy is more popular than ever? Shouldn’t all this therapy be improving our mental health? It’s almost like therapy drives the problem instead of solving it.
